For rough machining, a moderate feed rate and cutting depth should be selected, and full depth cutting should not be done at once; The cutting line speed of the ball end tool tip is low, and precision machining requires reducing the feed per tooth to improve the surface smoothness. Add emulsion for processing aluminum parts, use extreme pressure cutting oil for steel parts, continuously cool thoroughly, and reduce high-temperature wear and chip accumulation on the cutting edge.
During processing, avoid vertical cutting and strong scraping of the workpiece with the side blade. Use oblique cutting or spiral cutting to prevent the cutting edge from cracking. After stopping the machine, clean the cutting chips of the blade body in a timely manner, check the wear and breakage of the blade tip, repair minor wear in a timely manner, and prohibit the continued use of damaged tools. Long term storage requires application of rust proof oil and separate storage to avoid damage from blade collision. Control the speed reasonably throughout the process, strictly prohibit ultra high speed dry cutting, and extend the service life of the cutting tool.
